Welcome to Dance, etc! We are celebrating over 65 years offering quality dance instruction to the Grand Forks area. It is our intent to teach your child the fundamentals of dance, as well as the rewards of hard work, cooperation, concentration, and most importantly– self-confidence.
Dance, etc! offers jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet and pointe for students beginning at age 3. We also offer a Dance with Me class for dancers 18 months and older. We have very talented, caring and hard working instructors. They, themselves, have been taught by some of the top dance instructors in the United States. We are pleased to be able to offer their knowledge and expertise to your child.
Dance, etc! feels that the benefits of dance for children are many. In addition to learning dances and dance technique, dance classes can help build self confidence and coordination. Dancing helps children learn to work together with others and develops concentration and memory skills. As instructors, we feel that the opportunity to teach and share our knowledge of dance through Dance, etc! should be both fun and educational. Our goal is to provide a professional environment for teaching, learning, and enjoyment for the art of dance.
Dance etc! provides many performance opportunities for our students. We have a holiday showcase in December, and two recitals at the end of the year in May. Dancers also perform at events throughout the community. We, at Dance, etc! are committed to age appropriate costumes, music and choreography.
